From Renting to READY: Your Future Home Awaits!

Develop Clayton believes that every individual and family should have the opportunity to build generational wealth through homeownership. As part of our commitment to expanding access to safe, attainable, and quality housing, we are proud to provide pathways that help residents move from renting to preparing for homeownership.

Develop Clayton invites the community to attend From Renting to READY, a free homeownership readiness workshop designed to equip future homeowners with the knowledge, resources, and confidence needed to take the next step toward purchasing a home.

Upcoming Workshop

Join us on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Park Library Branch, 4812 West St., Forest Park, GA 30297.

Participants will gain valuable information on the homebuying process based on the READY framework, credit improvement, down payment assistance programs, and wealth building. The workshop will connect attendees with housing, real estate, and mortgage professionals who can provide practical guidance and resources for the journey toward homeownership.

The event will be presented by Shan Jackson of Develop Clayton, Trina McWhorter of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers, and Heather Grant of loanDepot, in partnership with the Clayton County Library System and Clayton County Government.

Light refreshments will be provided, along with giveaways, prizes, and back-to-school supplies. Space is limited, and participation is limited to guests 18 years of age and older.
