Holiday Closing & Independence Day Safety Reminder
The Housing Authority of Clayton County (HACC) will close early on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and remain closed all day Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day. We will resume normal operations on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Fireworks Safety Tips
Before you celebrate, please remember that fireworks can pose serious fire and safety hazards. If you plan to use them, keep these safety tips in mind:
Read cautionary labels and performance descriptions before lighting
Never give fireworks to children
Wear safety glasses when handling fireworks
Use fireworks outdoors, away from buildings and vehicles
Dispose of used fireworks safely-wet them down and place in a metal trash can overnight
Travel Safety Reminder
If you're traveling this weekend, please remember:
Always wear your seat belt
Never drive under the influence-use a designated driver or ride service
Stay alert and drive responsibly to protect yourself and others on the road
